ASIC Fee Increases Effective 1 July 2024
Starting 1 July 2024, ASIC will implement increased fees for various company-related services, which will remain effective until 30 June 2025. These adjustments will impact company registration, name reservation, name changes, annual review fees, and deregistration, among others.
Company Registration
- Registering a company name will increase to $597.
Company Name Reservation
- Reserving a company name will increase to $61.
Change of Company Name
- Name change will increase to $491.
Company Annual Review Fees
- Annual review fee for a proprietary company will increase to $321.
- Annual review fee for a special purpose company will increase to $65.
- Late payment fee if payment is received within a month after the due date will increase to $96.
- Late payment fee if payment is received more than one month after the due date will increase to $401.
Business Name Registration
- Registration or renewal fee for one year will increase to $44.
- Registration or renewal fee for three years will increase to $102.
Company Deregistration
- De-registering a company will increase to $49.
These updated fees reflect ASIC’s effort to align its charges with the costs of providing regulatory services. Businesses should take note of these changes and plan accordingly to manage their compliance obligations effectively.
